From the very good 1966 vintage and scoring 87/100 Parker points this red wine is a "Medium garnet-colored with considerable amber at the edge the aromatics could have pushed this wine into the 90-point category but the flavors were dry and angular and there was considerable astringent tannin in the finish. Nevertheless the bouquet was classic Pauillac and Lynch Bages - sweet and cedary with plenty of herb-tinged black fruits smoked meat and game-like notes." Drink now - 2012. A luxurious gift.
