Since its inaugural vintage in 1951, Grange has grown into a true icon of Australian winemaking. The 2005 vintage offered warm, dry harvest conditions, boosting this wine's trademark intensity. 96% Shiraz and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon were fermented in new American oak hogsheads for 18 months. Huge weight and power, with a complex palate of chocolatey dark fruit and notes of rhubarb and fennel. Will age gracefully for over 20 years.
